From HR to 'Social Impact'
I am Khizar Kahloon, an HR Director at Getinge, where my passion for people and culture comes to life. With over two decades of extensive HR experience, I am dedicated to nurturing a workplace that thrives on inclusivity, collaboration, and growth. Beyond corporate my role, I lead various community empowerment initiatives:
- The Kahloon Foundation: Inspired by my personal experiences growing up in rural Punjab, I have always been aware of the struggles faced by underprivileged communities. The foundation focuses on delivering basic provisions, supporting girl education, and providing healthcare in Pakistan.
- Iqbal Memorial Health Centre (IMHC): In the loving memory of my late father, I've built IMHC to deliver free, quality healthcare to underserved communities in my village and the nearby areas. With a daily outpatient service, qualified medical staff, and a fully digital health system, IMHC stands on the belief that access to dignified medical care is a basic right—not a privilege.
- Mentoring for Cause: Leveraging my decades of HR expertise and extensive network with successful professionals worldwide, this collaborative initiative offers free 1:1 career consultations and extended mentorship to individuals to achieve their career goals and success.
- Capital Markets for All: This initiative is to create awareness and provide essential knowledge of Capital Markets to those who may lack access to quality training. Providing knowledge to navigate the complexities of financial markets helps them make informed saving and investment decisions.
- The Kahloon Podcast: By bridging the insights of distinguished guests with the curiosity of our audience, the podcast fosters a community dedicated to discussing and understanding critical issues related to economic empowerment.
